Smells help with forming memories and enhancing learning experiences. Scentrealm Tech recently completed development of a system to integrate smell into virtual reality experiences. This new development has potential to build more emotionally engaging experiences and improve knowledge retention. Travel and tourism companies have also shown interest in this new technology for the purpose of enhancing sale opportunities. Although a significant amount of research is still incomplete, many pioneers in the industry are well on their way to unlocking the full potential of virtual smells in the near future.

Personally, I think this opportunity is very exciting. I don't own any virtual reality devices and I've only tried it like once, but I think the whole field is really interesting and holds potential for use in a variety of industries, like medicine and tourism. I think it'd be cool to see us reach full immersion one day, with all the senses incorporated.

Social facilitation is the tendency to perform better when you're being watched by others. Messi had a crazy performance during the World Cup with the whole world watching. Group polarization is being more likely to do something if other people in your group agree. The goat probably doesn't go for an assist unless his teammates think they can set it up. Reciprocity norm is expecting the someone to help you after you help them. Goatssi tackled Ramos after he fouled his teammate, who assisted Messi before.
